We start at the bus stop Fredenbrücke, from here the enchanting path leads along a small stream up to the Martinsklause. In former times, the wood was dammed here in order to transport it from the mountain to the valley. We continue passing the Teufelsloch (Devil's Hole) and climb steeply up into a beautiful forest area. The path continues flat until we reach the glass ark, a glass sculpture created by regional artists, which is supposed to represent the fragility of our nature.  Now comes the last steep ascent, straight up the Himmelsleiter (ladder to heaven) to the Lusengipel. Here you need to be warmly dressed, because the Bohemian wind often blows cold. We are happy to warm up in the Lusen Refuge afterwards. The descent is initially along the sledding trail, but from the Waldhausreibe we take the turnoff to the left in the direction of Waldhäuserriegel. Now it is not far to the idyllic inn "Am Guldensteig", where we end the wonderful tour and order the call bus to the Waldhäuser bus stop (church). Those who want to continue to the starting point take the right path before the village, which leads back to the Martinsklause. From there, the way back to the Fredenbrücke is the same as in the ascent.
